@testiles my hope is that you would keep the OP updated with all this information so that people didn't have to scan the millions of posts in this thread to find the latest.
Yes, ofc.
The whole purpose of the thread is to have an up-to-date list of unsupported titles, so yeah, I'll update the list as we go along. No problem.
Um, I
am the OP (original poster)???
Or do you mean "original post" here?
Same question. But thank you much anyway, to taking so much time for helping for better UHD support for so much people, testiles.
Wow.
Ok, thanks theosh.
You're very welcome. But it's a group effort. We are all contributing here to keep UHD support info available and up-to-date.
Appreciate your comment!
That is just one post. You’ve been replying like that for a long time to various people. I just asked as a moderator in the forums can you tone it down. It is offensive.
If you had replied like you did to me to explain it that would have been helpful. Also the reply from James as usual was helpful & informative.
I am a member of this forum & contribute to it & learn from others. It’s hard when you come here & read verbally abusive replies from a moderator on a continual basis.
I admit when I first came on the Forum, I was taken aback by some of @Ch3vron's responses.
But over time I've come to think it's a
culture thing.
I think perhaps where he's from people just speak their minds bluntly and with no what-they-may-consider "embellishments" to make it easier on the "ears" of whoever they're addressing.
We don't
generally do that so much in US, at least not in public discourse. We tend to put politeness first -- unless someone shows they deserve otherwise(lol).
So to our way of thinking some of his comments may seem rude, antagonistic or maybe "borderline abusive". But I really don't think that's his intent.
Hey, you gotta give him props for sticking in there with moderator support all these years. I don't think I could do it.
Because if I answered the same question 1,001 times and then again, it would drive me crazy and I'd probably get short too (lol). And that's not my general nature!
