List of UHDs currently UN-supported in AnyDVD

Air Force One (Amazon US) -- OPD: BD_5676a441dca1 now decodes properly. Woohoo!! :) However, I have a new one for the unsupported list:

CREED_II -- OPD: BD_8b59d7fb547f

:)

Hey guys.

I see a number of titles on the list are now supported!

Awesome!

@clchlee , @SamuriHL, @rshanti , @forceawakens made the changes you indicated to the list. Let me know if I missed something.

forceawakens, not sure which version of A Star is Born you're saying works now? Please specify....

rshanti Congrats! I know you've been waiting for that version of Air Force One to decrypt for some time.

I can also add that my version of Captain America First Avenger and the BBC Dynasties titles are decrypting too.

Thanks to the developers for all the UHD titles working now!

@testiles my hope is that you would keep the OP updated with all this information so that people didn't have to scan the millions of posts in this thread to find the latest.

Yes, ofc.

The whole purpose of the thread is to have an up-to-date list of unsupported titles, so yeah, I'll update the list as we go along. No problem.

Um, I am the OP (original poster)???

Or do you mean "original post" here?

Same question. But thank you much anyway, to taking so much time for helping for better UHD support for so much people, testiles.

Wow.

Ok, thanks theosh.

You're very welcome. But it's a group effort. We are all contributing here to keep UHD support info available and up-to-date.

Appreciate your comment!

That is just one post. You’ve been replying like that for a long time to various people. I just asked as a moderator in the forums can you tone it down. It is offensive.

If you had replied like you did to me to explain it that would have been helpful. Also the reply from James as usual was helpful & informative.

I am a member of this forum & contribute to it & learn from others. It’s hard when you come here & read verbally abusive replies from a moderator on a continual basis.

I admit when I first came on the Forum, I was taken aback by some of @Ch3vron's responses.

But over time I've come to think it's a culture thing.

I think perhaps where he's from people just speak their minds bluntly and with no what-they-may-consider "embellishments" to make it easier on the "ears" of whoever they're addressing.

We don't generally do that so much in US, at least not in public discourse. We tend to put politeness first -- unless someone shows they deserve otherwise(lol).

So to our way of thinking some of his comments may seem rude, antagonistic or maybe "borderline abusive". But I really don't think that's his intent.

Hey, you gotta give him props for sticking in there with moderator support all these years. I don't think I could do it.

Because if I answered the same question 1,001 times and then again, it would drive me crazy and I'd probably get short too (lol). And that's not my general nature!

Original post yes. You're the only one that can modify it since you're the OPer LMAO.

Hi SamuriHL.

I see what you're saying now.

Thought you were saying keep the Original Poster updated of changes. It didn't make sense...

I hadn't planned on updating the original post.

Just updating the list in the thread as we go along.

I figure to see the latest list you look for it's latest posting in the thread.

You think updating the first post is better?

T

Way better. That was the original intent of creating a new post.

Well, the intent was to take the unsupported list out of the thread originally made to list supported UHD's.

Not necessarily to have the list maintained in post #1 only.

Guys, what do you think on this?

Interested to know if everyone thinks it's better to keep updating the list in the first post as opposed to a running update in the thread....

I would like to add an unsupported title:

The Revenant --- OPD: BD_bfd4d4f53089

This one is a little stange because it is one of the first UHD discs that I bought so its about 2 years old. Still plays fine in my oppo 203

My copy of A Star Is Born decypts fine. Bought it at JB Hifi Austaralia - OPD BD_d576fe3a51cd

No, @forceawakens indicated a "Star is Born" on the list was now decrypting but didn't say which one (there were two).

I was telling him I was removing the US version, because that's probably the one he meant.

My copy of A Wrinkle in Time does not decrypt.

The following Japan UHD 4K disc are still not supported yet by AnyDVD

1-Jumanji-1995
2-Kingsmen The Golden Circle
3-Hansel and Gretel the witch hunter
4-RobinHood (2010)
5-Harry Potter The Half Blood Prince
6-HPotter the Goblet or Fire
7-Jurassic World

I agree with SamuriHL's comment. Such threads where the info is continually updated, the first post in the thread (OP) is usually updated to help the forum readers to get the latest info just by looking at the OP. Seen it as a standard practice on at least 5 different forums I frequent. Would hope @testiles follow that.
