The UN-supported UHD List

What are unsupported UHD's?

Unsupported UHD titles generate a pop-up when scanned by AnyDVD that says the following:

---> "Cannot process request at this moment, please try again later" <---

You can also see that message in AnyDVD's Status window.

Typically means a key has not yet been added to the online database for that title version.

If you're using a keyfile (and you should be for UHD's), you will also see a message in the Status window similar to this:

---> "No valid key found in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\aacs\keydb.cfg! <---

What's the UN-supported UHD List?

It's a collection of all versions of UHD titles currently unsupported in AnyDVD -- as reported by AnyDVD users.
For each version the following items are listed:
  1. Title
  2. OPD Id (indicates version)
  3. Country of release
  4. Vendor (optional)

How to contribute?

Download the Scanner tool in post #3 and follow the instructions there on its use.

For unsupported titles not already on the List, you will be prompted for the information indicated above.

After scanning all your titles, hit "Prepare Forum Post" and paste the Scanner clipboard contents to a post in this thread.

This will generate a "new-title" submission to add the title to the List.

Note: Once added to the List, you will receive an automatic notification when your title's key shows up in the public keyfile.

Thread rules:

0) Do *NOT* delete any posts you make in this thread (see bulletin below).

1) NO LOGFILES should be posted here! They are not needed.

2) When notified a key is available, download the latest public keyfile and re-check your title's Support Status.

3) Promptly submit a final Scanner report to remove your listed title when supported!

4) UHD titles with AACS 2.1 protection (as opposed to AACS 2.0) are not listed as they are not decrypted by AnyDVD at all.

--- Currently known 2.1 titles are:

--- The Patriot
--- Fury
--- Stand by Me (original 2019 release)
--- Zombieland
--- Charlie's Angels (2000)

Bulletins:

  • ________ IMPORTANT -- Do *NOT* delete any post in this thread!!! ________

  • Report Post Numbers are recorded and deleting causes Forum re-numbering!

  • *(Edit the post instead)*

  • ____________________ **** On submissions **** ____________________

  • Scanner reports are required for all List transactions: both adding a title and updating it !!!

  • NOTE: If submitting a new title using an iso, do *NOT* edit the iso's Label beforehand!
  • (the original Label must be presented)

  • ________________ **** On non-English titles **** ________________

  • Titles must be listed by the English name.
  • Titles cannot include non-English characters. (Examples: ä, ö, ü, ß, é, ç, á, ú, せ)

AnyDVD Scanner [1.1.9.3]

Q: What is it?
A: This tool will scan the disc/s in your drive/s to check the status and if needed, will prepare a forum post that you will post to this thread. This will allow @testiles to keep the list of unsupported titles up to date while making the process easier and more automated.

Installation/Configuration:
o) Download from the attached file on this post.
o) Extract AnyDVD_Scanner.exe to a folder on your machine (Note: You will need 7zip).
o) ISO modes will only appear when Virtual CloneDrive is installed
o) The first time you run the scanner, you must enter your forum name in the textbox provided EXACTLY as it appears on the forum. This only has to be done once.

Note for W7 users (or anyone else getting runtime errors): You may need to install this and reboot:

.NET 8: Runtime Installer

Select
Run desktop apps
Download x64

Instructions for use [NEW USERS MUST READ!!!!!!!!]:

WARNING: You should remove all discs from your physical drives before scanning with the ISO modes

o) If you installed everything correctly (See above), you will see 3 modes to select from:

  • Disc Mode
  • ISO Folder mode
  • ISO File mode
o) Select the appropriate mode for the Disc/ISO you wish to scan. This selection will be remembered for the next time you run the Scanner
o) ISO modes will have a ... button next to them to select the ISO or ISO folder depending on mode. Your selection will be remembered the next time you run the Scanner

o) Once the proper options for your mode have been selected, the Scan button will be enabled and you are ready to scan your disc and/or ISO

o) As the disc(s) are scanned, you may be asked to provide title information. Enter a human readable title and select the country of release. Optionally, provide the vendor where the disc was purchased. Press Save when all information is entered. Repeat this for each title you've scanned that requires additional information.

NOTE: If title information is required, a pop-up dialog will appear asking you for the information about each title. You can see which fields are required and which are optional when entering the requested information. Title should be

  • Mixed case (NOT upper case)
  • Should have spaces between the title words...no '_' or '-'
  • Should NOT contain "UHD" or "4K'
  • Do not worry about moving "The" in the title. The scan reader that picks up your reports will do it for you
  • Optionally include the year at the end

o) You SHOULD continue to scan more Discs/ISOs until all your discs/ISOs are scanned. Do NOT press the Prepare Forum button after each scan! Only press the Prepare Forum button once ALL your discs/ISOs are scanned!!

NOTE: When the previous Discs/ISOs are finished scanning, insert a new Disc/ISO and press the scan button again when they are recognized by the system. Continue this process until you've scanned all your new Discs/ISOs. This is why having an ISO folder of protected ISOs is easier!

o) Once you have finished scanning all of your Discs/ISOs, if the Prepare Forum Post button is enabled, click it to create a scan report. The scan report will be copied to your clipboard. Paste the report from your clipboard into a new forum post in this thread and post it.

KeyDB:
The KeyDB file is hosted on the internet and contains CPS Unit Keys that can decrypt a title. AnyDVD uses the KeyDB file extensively to find new keys for titles. You MUST ensure this file is kept up to date at all times BEFORE scanning your titles!

To configure the KeyDB file, click the KeyDB button in the Scanner or use the KeyDB Tools program below. This will configure AnyDVD to use the KeyDB file and download/update the keydb.cfg file to the latest version available online. By default the keydb.cfg file is installed in your %appdata%\aacs folder (your user profile roaming directory).

Additionally, I've written a new tool called KeyDB Tools to help manage your KeyDB file for you. You can also use it to submit a dump file to me either in the KeyDB Tools thread (see below) or PM it to me. I will then look for keys for your submitted dump and upload them to the KeyDB once I'm able to find them.

Download link here:

KeyDB Tools

SCANNER OPTIIONS:
POPUP: Selecting/Deselecting this will enable/disable the AnyDVD popup killing function
NOTEPAD: Selecting/Deselecting this will enable/disable opening the Scan Report in Notepad
LOGGING: Selecting/Deselecting this will enable/disable the Scanner log
...: If logging is enabled, you'll see this button and clicking it will open the log with Notepad

NOTE: After you've submitted titles to the list, you can use KeyDB Tools if you've submitted a dump to check on the status and additionally you will be notified here on the forum when a key for your title is added. If the title has been submitted to the list, you MUST submit a brand new Scanner report to have it removed from the list. Simply saying "supported" or "working" is *NOT* sufficient!

One suggestion to this post. If there are variants for unsupported titles that are known to work (For example, my copy of Bohemian Rhapsody from VUDU/Walmart) we should list those, too, until they're all supported just to differentiate and stop the "but mine works" posts. This is great.

SamuriHL,

I see where that might be helpful -- but maybe problematic.

How will we really know when all variants are supported to remove those "supported versions" listings?

For example, I thought all versions of Air Force One, Rampage, and Oceans 8 were supported a loooooong time ago.

So when those entries come along late in the title's life cycle, would we go back and list all the versions that already worked?

Could be a bit of a sticky wicket....

To tell you the truth, if "mine works" but it's a different OPD number than the one on the list, then congratulations but there really is no need to post that comment (lol).

One should only post here if you have a title version that doesn't work!

Also, if you have a title version that doesn't work and it's posted here that it now does, that may be something for its own thread so the developers could take a look.

Thanks mlknez.

What country (and vendor) is that?

I now have a copy of Bohemian Rhapsody from Amazon and it's decrypting.

Since we don't know the OPD number for the one on the list (it was added before we started doing that), I'm going to remove that entry for now.

If someone has a non-supported Bohemian Rhapsody, we can re-post it with the OPD number they supply...

I just bought Ralph Breaks The Internet (4K/UHD version) from Best Buy last night and went to rip it to ISO with my RedFox AnyDVDHD and essentially got the message indicating that it can't decrypt. The accompanying Blu-ray disc version decrypted fine.

Any indication when RedFox will be releasing the 4K/UHD decryption support for this movie? I heard that MakeMKV already has it available, so the decryption algorithm must be out there. I'm hoping RedFox comes out with an update soon.

No indication whatsoever, ther never has been and most likely never will be. For any title. Redfox does not do ETA's

I have a few new just-released UHDs that are not supported yet, Captain America First Avenger from Amazon and BBC's Dynasties.

Adding to the list...
