Movie Only Copies: eac3to, tsMuxer & ImgBurn Made Easy

Can this be done by editing the meta file and .bat file when running in batch mode?

Thanks for your time.

I do this all the time (mostly for movies that have two forced tracks).

There is likely a better way but I just let it complete the remux. If I discover an issue I delete the remuxed files, edit the line out of the meta file and save it (your example shown below). Then I open tsmuxer.log in a notepad (notepad++ actually) and copy the entire command line including quotes. Next I open a command prompt paste the copied command line and let it run.

MUXOPT --no-pcr-on-video-pid --new-audio-pes --blu-ray --vbr --custom-chapters=00:00:00.000;00:00:21.104;00:01:52.738;00 :07:55.350;00:09:55.970;00:11:18.761;00:13:24.178; 00:14:49.806;00:17:14.242;00:20:40.948;00:22:25.30 2;00:25:12.886;00:29:32.813;00:31:41.483;00:35:51. 733;00:40:48.571;00:44:16.320;00:52:04.580;00:55:0 3.842;00:58:27.921;01:02:27.702;01:05:33.012;01:10 :06.911;01:11:17.940;01:16:20.951;01:18:08.100;01: 20:26.363;01:24:18.178;01:26:44.783;01:29:54.723;0 1:31:02.415;01:33:08.541;01:37:21.419;01:39:06.315 ;01:42:33.731;01:44:41.567;01:46:19.248;01:48:07.7 31;01:50:24.952;01:56:47.667;01:59:13.063;02:00:31 .391;02:01:21.316;02:02:23.378;02:03:56.971;02:05: 15.133;02:06:25.995;02:07:23.177;02:08:28.993;02:0 9:53.536 --vbv-len=500

What Am I doing wrong?

Every-time I try and re-mux a HD-DVD I get this error:

I'm feeling really rather foolish as I am obviously missing something simply but I really am lost :bang:

I first ripped the Discs with AnyDVD-HD and I have CloneDrive

I have just realised I need to mount the files using Clone DVD, I thought this was done automatically  However, now I get to the stream selection page and it doesn't allow me to select any and then tells me I haven't when I select next

Have Seamless Branching questions.

I just bought a new Popcorn Hour, and plan to use Clown BD to rip my blu-rays, along with the English HD Audio, into a M2TS format, for playback off a HDD with the PCH.

It seems Seamless Branching is an issue for some media players, and the best recommendations Ive seen is to use the Clown BD suite with eac3to and tsmuxer.

All that being said, it appears when I run into a title with multiple streams that are the same length, I should use Clown BD Copier's viewer to find the correct one, then select this stream in the Clown BD menu, and rip as usual to M2TS. Clown BD will put it into one coherent M2TS file?

Thanks.

For seamless branching disks I use the ONE movie only MPLS file (playlist) instead of the one or more M2TS files that make up the main movie. The MPLS file has the proper sequence flow of the M2TS files that make up the main movie.

Use the MPLS file just like using the M2TS file for building backups on seamless branching disks.

I use BDinfo to find the main movie MPLS file and build my backup as I choose, but I think ClownBD copier can also find the main movie MPLS file.

There are times when the longest stream may not even be the main movie, that is why you need to identify the MPLS and the M2TS file(s) using software programs BEFORE building your backup the way you want to.

Thanks, BDInfo could be helpful in that operation.

I did some experimenting with Clown and a competitor yesterday, throwing in a few discs with multiple tracks and seamless branching. The competitor product scans for awhile, and seems to do a job picking the proper track, which is the combined M2TS tracks, and then outputs one M2TS file in the end.

Clown also does a good job at picking the 1 or more available (Aliens is an example because it has FOUR, 2 for the Theatrical Cut and 2 for the Extended Cut).

I'll download BD info now and mess with it when I can and see what it shows me on some Seamless Branching movies compared to the other software.

Not working

I've used ClownBD a few times and had perfect results every time. Now all of a sudden its not working. I load an .iso file and have AnyDVDHD running, set up for ClownBD is same as I always use, it scans the BD Disc image, two pass eac3 runs and suddenly it skips step 2 completely, so nothing is presented from which to select. All i get is step 3 and am unable to select anything.

Anyone alse had similar problems.
There is nothing in the logs at all .

Can you please post a LOG file from AnyDVD + the eac3to pass 1 & 2 files. Perhaps a screenshot of pass#2 might help too.

Logs

Even without AnyDVDHD running I still have problems, AnyDVD has already been used to Rip these .iso's so shouldn't make a difference. . Logs are attached.

Anybody?

Here is the AnyDVDHD log file.

The Slysoft Development Team needs AnyDVD log files from the Original disc, not from an image, as is shown in your log file : ELBY CLONEDRIVE 1.4. The log files you provided gives very little information.
Thank You.

Not Working

OK So Ive now posted all the logs requested.

Now you say the log from AnyDVDHD isn't any good because it was taken from a ripped .iso .

Well yes , i thought ClownBD worked on ripped .iso ?
What do I do now because at stage 3 ClownBD fails . I've supplied a screenshot already.
If it doesnt work I might as well uninstall and go back to the BDinfo method.

I have no idea what your'e trying to accomplish but if mounting your ISO
won't work you could try extract it and then try ClownBD on the extracted folders. 8)

What happens when you use L:\BDMV\PLAYLIST\00800.mpls directly as your input source?

You can ignore the above posts that don't help you.

Thanks Mike,

Using .mpls method has the same result.
I can't establish the reason why 90% of my .iso are not being read by ClownBD. The odd one is OK but most not.

For these I am now using BDInfo to read the .mpls then tsmuxer to create a .ts copy. I can then run ClownBD on the .ts to convert DTS to AC3 audio for yet another version (my media centre wont play DTS sound).

Very strange

How does eac3to behave in command line mode?

I've tried eac3to in command line mode on these ripped .iso's and that is the problem. It is failing to read the stream/track list of the specific title.

Does this indicate a problem with the way AnyDVDHD is ripping the originals.?
Or a problem with eac3to (I've tried a couple of other GUI's for it and all fail)?

Either way how do I proceed other than not using eac3to ?

I dont know what is causing this. If you cant read the files via Windows then there is no way you can post process.

I think I have found the reason , but it doesn;t make sense.
The iso's are being mounted by clone drive but the iso's reside on a network drive. These fail to be read by eac3to.

When I copy the iso to the hard drive and mount it from there and run ClownBD or eac3to command line it all works fine.

Strange ..but why??
