Be aware for any structurally protected DVD's, it is not recommended to rip to ISO as the contents may be unplayable. DVD's are recommended to rip to disk. As for BD, I read somewhere on these forums ISO is recommended over ripping to disk, but I don't know why. I rarely rip BD's.

I don't want to sound pendantic, just covering all possibilities. The AnyDVD icon isn't just "hidden" on the Notification tray, is it? Even if it was, inserting a DVD with AnyDVD running should, at least, open the disc info window.

Don't know about CloneDVD, but if you did rip to ISO in AnD, DVDShrink has the ability to open DVD Video ISO files directly.

If you want to know, use DVDShrink or CloneDVD to load the VIDEO_TS, inferring you're ripping to disk instead of ISO, and see if both programs finish loading the VIDEO_TS. If they do, you're pretty much okay, but you can write out new output with either program for more assurance. DVDShrink...
