I agree 100%I am definitely amused at all the arguments. Honestly? I couldn't give a damn what any of you do with your machines. The fact remains Windows 11 is more secure, it's a FREE update, and if you choose to stay on an older version of Windows, have at it. There's still people running XP, 7, 8, etc. Anyway, to each their own. Enjoy.

Win 10 is slower compared to Win 11 on these 12xxx CPUs. Win 11 has the so called "Thread director" co-developed by MS and Intel. Win 10 doesn't have it. Google "Thread director".
I have Windows 11 on my test bed. But my main machine only runs Linux. Using Wine 8.0 RC1 now.As someone who writes real-time software for a living, Windows' thread scheduler has always annoyed me, from its idiotic solution to priority inversion to its quanta penalization (not to mention its limited, hierarchical priority scheme). Whenever I have to port my software to Windows (for testing or simulation purposes; Windows isn't a real-time OS), I want to pull my hair out.
To do this | Say this |
Select a range of text in the text box | “Select from [text 1] to [text 2]”, e.g., “Select from have to voice access” |
Delete all the text in a text box | “Delete all” |
Apply bold, underline, or italic formatting for the selected text or the last dictated text | “Bold that,” “Underline that,” “Italicize that” |
The whole reason for the W11 requiring newer processors than W10 is because it uses new security features in those newer processors to provide new kinds of protection against attacks. Why more secure? I always load all fixes for Win 10.
CLR1 | This update addresses a change that affects how you use the X509Certificate, X509Certificate2, or X509Certificate2Collection classes. When you use them to import a PKCS#12 blob that contains a private key, the calling application might get an exception. The exception message is, “System.Security.Cryptography.CryptographicException: PKCS12 (PFX) without a supplied password has exceeded maximum allowed iterations.
