Red 2

The disc is getting decrypted, but there's an issue with this disc. The disc uses seamless branching and the very first file in the list uses different audio to the rest of the film so you can't make a 'movie only' by using a standard playlist. On my disc I had to determine the correct playlist, then look at the m2ts files used in that play list, then go into TSMuxer and load in all the files in order except the first one (it's only a logo so you don't miss anything). I then got TSMuxer to export it out as Blu-ray format which then worked

Hopefully that doesn't become the norm, because it seems like more effort than it's worth to me. The relevant pieces from the Handbrake log are:

Do you suppose that's symptomatic of what you're describing? And, based on what you're saying, it doesn't sound like this "problem" would be considered something to "fix" in AnyDVD, right?

This can be found on other discs, too, but usually not in the main movie.
One example is Avatar CE, where some extras are built that way (alternating DTS HD and DD).

So, are we talking about a DVD here?
In that case: this is the Blu-ray forum.

Correct - mine is a DVD issue. Sorry, newbie mistake. I just did a title search in the forums, and didn't catch that I had landed in a Blu-ray-specific forum.

Using 7.3.7.4 beta. I thought 7.3.7.4 was supposed to id the correct playlist, but testing the fix I still see:

Java BD protection good playlists: 293, 451, 569, 570, 571, 572, 573, 575, 576, 577, 578, 679, 680, 681, 682, 983

I know this was old behavior, but I thought 7.3.7.4 was just supposed to report the single correct playlist (again, 577 I believe).

It's a different disc. Try again, please.
(It has nothing to do with the AnyDVD version, it's the online database)
