Here is my 3rd pass log for Harry Potter 7... everything works perfectly except the Spanish subtitles will not display. I see the error (and I assume that's the problem)... how do I fix it? Thanks!!!

Did you try running it again and choosing one of the other Spanish subtitle tracks as there appear to be 3 on the disc

I've ripped them all (not individually), but nothing displays. When I view the Spanish subs in Sup2Sub that track 11 is definitely the one I want.

Movie Only Files Too Large for 25gig Disks

Hi folks! Has anyone else run into the issue while using ClownBD for movie-only, and getting a file size too large for a 25gig disk? Is this common, or am I missing something? Also, is there a way to tell how large the file is going to be before spending all that time only to find out the file is too big? Thanks!!

I see now how it's referring to a4 as the DTS track. I thought it was a problem with the subtitle because it came right after the creation of the subtitle.

The odd thing is, the only ill effect is that the Spanish subtitle track will not show. Audio is fine.

Is there a more efficient workflow I could be using?

My ultimate goal is to rip the main movie, the highest quality English and Spanish audio tracks, and any forced, English, and Spanish subtitle tracks (but not director commentary or anything like that).

Here's what I do:

1) run ClownBD on the disc and select the video, audio, and subtitle streams
2) look at the subtitle streams in BDSup2Sub to determine which streams I want and if any are forced
3) run ClownBD again on the BD folder structure I just created to strip out the unneeded subtitle tracks

Is there a faster way? A way to achieve the same thing with only one run of ClownBD?

I know I can uncheck use tsMuxeR, but does that stop prior to the BDSup2Sub step if there are any forced subs? And how can I resume using the tsMuxeR half of ClownBD on the video, audio, and subtitle streams in my demux folder?

Strange bug with TsMuxer

Hello Mike_r,

I've been using Clownd BD package for a while now (more than 150 BRD backups with movie only) and always been very happy with this small but efficient tool 8).

I'm using the last 0.79 package of Clown BD
Yesterday, I wanna backuped the blu-ray "Legend Of The Guardians - The Owls of Ga'Hoole" and I was facing a strange thing :
- eac3to worked fine and demux the required 'movie only' audio track and video streams,
- TsMuxer ran very fast and only provided about 40KB of data (BR structure skeleton) on HDD without any error reported !

Do you have one idea why TsMuxer failed to remux the video and audio streams
I've done others 'movie only' backups after this title attempt without any issue...

Best guess would be the "'" in Ga'Hoole. Remove it and ty another file path.

LEGEND_OF_THE_GUARDIANS movie only : Failed

Well Mike,

The volume name of the Blu-ray is in fact "LEGEND_OF_THE_GUARDIANS" and I tried to shorter it to "LEGEND" without more success :disagree: I don't think that the TsMuxer issue is relevant to the volume name...

Here is attached the LOG file of both "eac3to" and "TsMuxer" for this blu-ray. The "eac3to" tool runs just fine but not "tsmuxer" :bang:

Any other idea

HD-DVD: Lucky # Slevin problem

I have been using Clown_BD to convert my old HD-DVDs to BD ISOs. Except for one movie, it has worked great.

The one problematic movie is "Lucky Number Slevin". Instead of the usual FEATURE_1.EVO+FEATURE_2.EVO playlist, its playlist is FBLACK.EVO+FEATURE_1.EVO+FEATURE_2.EVO+FBLACK.EVO. The problem is caused by FBLACK.EVO only containing a stereo E-AC3 soundtrack, while the FEATUREs contain 5.1 at 1536 kbps. Clown therefore only shows the stereo soundtracks as an option, and eac3to crashes when it subsequently tries to convert the audio track.

Any suggestions?

You have a few options:

. use EVODemux from Pelikan
. use eac3to in command line
. copy all the HD-DVD files onto the hard drive and manually manipulate the XML files so that eac3to is fooled
. buy it as Blu-Ray for 10$.

EDIT: Blu-ray ordered. No reason to be stubborn and waste time and effort, when the BD replacement is that cheap.

I've created an ISO image from BDMV+CERTIFICATE folders using ImgBurn and play the ISO file on the computer (PDVD10) with success but tsMuxer choosed the wrong video stream (making of) and the films duration in PDVD was above 12 hours long (only 1h39 active video).
I would preffer using clownBD GUI :agree:
