Hey guys,
I've been using CloneDVD2 for a long time now and have had no problems at all until now. I recently updated my computer with a new mobo, SATA hard drives, eVga 8800 video card, and 4 Gigs of RAM. Since doing this, I cannot get CloneDVD to burn to a dual layer disk no matter what I have tried to do and apparently regardless of what DVD title I try. It stills burns just fine to 4.7G DVDs, and does the "reading" portion of the process with the DLs even, but after it swaps to "erasing, formatting" portion, it locks up my computer every time. I have been throughout the forums fairly extensively, but to no avail. I have disabled Nero's inCD, updated the firmware (to vers. 1.0c) for my DVD drives (Sony DRU-820A's--neither will burn, so I don't believe they are going out simultaneously), the drives are enabled for DMA mode, my IDE controller is listed as the "Standard dual channel PCI IDE Controller" (I didn't mess with the nVidia SATA controllers since I don't think they would have any effect), as well as whatever else I have found in the forums. Both CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD are up to date (2.9.0.3/6.1.4.3). The DVDs (so far that I have problems burning to DL (so far) are The Queen, The Prestige, and Flags of Our Fathers. I only use Verbatim DL disks. I have left the burning speed at maximum, but I don't think it ever actually begins to burn at all from the looks of the bottom of the disk, nor have I ever had a problem otherwise burning at max speed. I never receive an error message--it just completely locks up the computer. Here are the status info from AnyDVD:

By the way, I am sure that CloneDVD is "reading" the files properly as I have tried playing the files CloneDVD decoded into DVD files onto my hard drive and they play without any problems at all. Sorry to be so long-winded with this, but I wanted to make sure you had all the info you might need.
I would greatly appreciate your help with this--I have been working on it way too long already. Thanks!
