CloneBD has been released!

Audio way out of sync on The Punisher and not so bad on Casino Royale, hopefully things will get better in time.

Hi, download the Clone BD beta. It looks great. When I click at the top to buy registration code, however, it takes me to a page where I can buy but automatically ClodeDVD is filled in as the product I am buying. I have that already!
So, is the code not ready to be bought yet? The BD code, I mean.

The UI looks nice; the options are nice. \o/

It crashed on transcode start for Monsters U. I'm not able to find a place to submit a bug report or how to gather the needed debug information.

No yet, it is in beta. IT is supposed to be released today

About the mos spelled words, unless you specify the language in question nothing can be done. It's also technically not they're job to maje sure every translation is correct. Thesis p there's too many supported languages for that and they don't speak them all. It's the job of the translator to do it properly.

I thought this was going to preserve the real menus, just that whatever was cut out was going to be inaccessible. That is how DVD Shrink did it in the days of yore. When I processed Battle:LA, it created a Speed Menu type of thing instead.

Is this how the final product will do it? Will it throw away the original menus and create a Speed Menu type of thing?


EDIT: Just a note, it did build a partial set bluray of Battle:LA for me without any issues. Audio was in sync with the video. Played the new ISO in WinDVD 11.0.

Freezing Problem?

I installed CloneBD but did not do a restart on my machine. I tried to remove anything that was not needed on my iso backup of Guardians of the Galaxy. I tried 3 times and it froze all 3 times at around 81%. I then remembered that I always do a restart on my computer after intalling anything. After I did a restart I had no problem with freezing. I was not doing any compression, just did a rerip of the ISO file I had to remover unwanted languages and stuff. Worked fine. ISO file is not 32gig instead of 43 gig. Will save LOTS of space on my bluray storage drives. Just wanted to pass the info on about restarting after you install CloneBD. Might solve some freezing problems.

Please add an option to disable the animal in top right corner, thank you, or at least the animation it does from time to time.

It will be released when its done. Stay tuned, a few small issues have to be fixed and then you can buy it, 8)
 
Is the menu created in the beta the type of menu we will have in the full release? I only ask because I actually want to keep the real menus.
 
Menu's are the same as they are on the original. CloneBD only processes what is already there. It does not create a menu

How do I keep the original menus if I also want to chop out stuff?

EDIT: This is the men that is created, I want the original menu but still have the stuff I do not want chopped out

Had a quick play and seems straightforward to use. Having said that I couldn't work out how to do a MKV with HD audio and forced subtitles

U don't, yet. That functionality is not yet implemented. It will get added eventually, but remember that CloneBD is still under development. The current release is only a public beta test, not a full size retail release.
