Cinavia protection kicking in ?

You could always split the movie onto two dvd5's and lose zero quality if you dont mind getting up to play part two.... I have done this many times....:rock:

The blu ray iso's can be played I believe but only the main movie.... which is why I just mkv the main movie and let it play that... as for the fab product , I happen to love it, I use both and bdrebuilder too, the much hated fab product gets the job done with the least amount of hassle ...

Sure , I use that ' other product ' that has fab in it... I use the ripper option to make mkv files from the main movie... that mkv file then can be played back with the wd live or my mac mini running xbmc , I do not reduce the size or anything so it merely wraps the mts files from the main...

I dont think so , they may in a future firmware update support 3d... I myself use a WD Live hub w/ 1Tb drive inside and can tell you it plays blu ray main movie full encoded MKV with DTS surround sound.... what I mean by full encoded is the mkv is just wrapped with the original mts files with...

I disagree , the CUDA support really speeds up my blu ray to dvd ports. Sometimes bd rebuilder would fail me where the other would not... at least in dvd conversions.... I still use both and love bd rebuilder but I dont think they are using the same code.....

I have used BD Rebuilder in the past but I have switched to the " fab " product to do this because the CUDA support really speeds the process up... average 24 to 30 fps so the conversion takes no longer than the movie itself.... bd rebuilder can take a few hours..... bd rebuilder is free the...

The converted dvd looks very good , I haven't noticed any problems with it , the cuda conversion usually take about 2 hours or less , it knocks it out at around 25 fps , without cuda its like 12 to 16 at least on my older machine... and I'm using a 8500gtx - not even near the latest and greatest...

I use both BD Rebuilder and FAB myself. I can tell you that Fab has a great add on called bluray to dvd that works great and in my opinion better than bd rebuilders , also Fab uses CUDA if you have a nvidia card and it makes the job way faster. I also use Fab to strip out just the main movie...

Thanks for the reply! Since I also have a mac mini hooked to my tv I tried using boxee to play the movie main m2ts file and it worked , it would drop frames here and there but boxee crashes a lot and 3/4 way through the movie boxee crashed.... but at least it is a start. What about those...

What about boxee or plex or something running on a mac mini ?

I use Anydvdhd to rip the disk to the hard drive (files not the iso type) is there anything out there that will let the PS3 see this as a disc for playback from the PC that the rip files are at ? I have tried Twonky but I either get data corrupt messages for the mts files or the audio will be...

BD Rebuilder has a new option for that..... Also that ' other ' product that ends with fab will rip blu rays to whatever you want as well....

Makemkv or perhaps Handbrake will do the job......

No clonebd , just a lot of stories about it..... You need BD Rebuilder , ClownBD , IMGBURN to complete the task at hand....

I believe the 3d version will be MVC or something like that while the 2d version is avc so pick the avc version and burn that. Worked for me on Polar Express 3D that I needed just a 2d copy of....

Use BD-Rebuilder to compress movie to 25gb bd-r size , IMGBURN to burn disc.

Plays fine on my PS3 .
