I am confused by the recommendation from you and Frank that AnyDVD shouldn't be used to rip to image for DVD's. Why not? I have ripped all my movies - DVD, Bluray, HDDVD - to image and had no problems. I have been able to mount a DVD ISO with VCD and make a disc using CloneDVD. I also have no problem playing mounted DVD's. In my setup, it is definitely preferable to have all media ripped to ISO for my playback software TMT5.
Thanks

This has also been explained numerous times. If you rip to image then the structural protections can also be brought across to the image. Just because it's worked on discs in the past doesn't mean it will in the future as more and more discs use a newer protection which requires to either rip to folder or use CloneDVD to make the image. The rip to image option has never been intended for DVD's and was put in place for ripping Blu-ray's and DVD's
