Hey thanks for the info, but I am running redfox version 8.5.8.0, and I can't seem to find the updated version to run the scanner, that's why I did it this way. Where do I find the newer version? When I look at about on my version it says I'm up to date..

While you did everything right this time, just a little bit to make your life and testiles' life easier, you can scan all your titles BEFORE hitting the prepare forum button and it will package them all in one report. No big deal at all but should make things easier for you.

Yes, please!!

It's quicker and easier for you to include all the titles you're reporting on in one Scanner report and paste to a single post.

Much quicker on my end as well.

For example, it takes me 3 times as long to process your Men in Black set this way as it would a single report with the entire set.


As mentioned, the way to include all titles in one report is to "Scan" each disc with the Scanner and only after you've done them all, hit "Prepare Forum Post".


But I'd recommend - since you have a number of titles now on the List - that you create protected .iso's for them, put them all in a folder and use the Scanner's "ISO - Dir" Mode to process all the titles.

Doing it that way once you press "Dir", it'll just ask for the folder location, then automatically process all the .iso's in your folder - while you sit back and wait. :=)

Makes periodically checking your titles a 2-click operation on the Scanner!


Anyway, glad you're back and you got your MIB set submitted. :=)

You can delete that entry. After updating MakeMKV as instructed in AnyDVD it processed fine. I hadn't realized that was a possible source of error. Sorry.

Hmmm, updating makeMKV??

You should be using AnyDVD version 8.5.8.2 which afaik is not affected by makeMKV.

Also the latest versions of the Scanner shouldn't allow you to use it with an earlier AnyDVD version than that.


What versions of the Scanner and of AnyDVD are you using?

So I guess that means jwjohnson is not only using makeMKV just before running the Scanner but it's a version older than 1.16.5 -- so AnyDVD 8.5.8.2 didn't provide protection...
