AnyDVD Scanner 1.0.5.4 released

Please read this...

I have re-enabled the popup killing code, but you REALLY want to use 1.0.5.4 because I've fixed the bug where it would kill your browser window if you're dumb enough to have the "AnyDVD HD" forum open while running the scanner. :p It happens when you have all the "show info" options enabled in AnyDVD settings and have another window on your machine with "AnyDVD HD" in the title. That won't happen now with the new version.

For those that absolutely HATE the popup killing code, you can hit Control+Shift+K before you start your scan to disable it. You won't see any indicators telling you it's off but when you run the scan you'll see the current functionality where popups remain until you close them or they time out on their own.

This is the only fix. I don't have any time to spend on this program except for critical fixes but I know a bunch of you really liked the popup killer (and I've been using it myself this whole time :p).

Really glad the pop-up killer is back!

I haven't been using the Scanner much lately since I haven't had unsupported UHD's (so haven't missed the killer much) but I know it makes a big difference on my computers.


I think the Scanner has evolved to have all it needs functionality-wise and has been bug-free for some time now.

So unless this latest release introduces some new issue, we're in a very good place.

Guys I have been away from the forum for a while but I'm getting back into 4K UHD ripping again, cant stay away for ever:)

I got few new titles, one of them is F9 I got in Canada at Wall Mart. I see its already posted as "Still unsupported". Should I still provide the necessary info from scanner because I'm in Canada or its all good and just waiting time now.

You can provide updates as long as the scanner shows the Prepare forum post button. Testiles collects when the last scanner update was run so that the title stays active on the list and you become an alternate contact for titles you have.

It's important to know that a (version of a) title on the List is still unsupported at any given time. And definitely to know that it is now working!

A lot has changed since you've been around -- I think this is probably your first use of the Scanner.

You'll need to enter your Forum User name into the Scanner tool exactly as it appears here online. There must be an exact match, including case.

So please enter "FoXFun" with the "F"'s and "X" capitalized.

I took care of it for you for this submission but fixing it on the Scanner sets you up for subsequent submissions.
