I should point out though that looks like your local keyfile was downloaded around 4:30 PM -- and the key for Fear and Desire was added to the public keyfile later than that.


So I'm guessing the Scanner showed support because someone beat you to the punch and the key was in the OPD already.


Always good to make sure you refresh your keyfile just before checking title support...

Fantastic progress. Some other softwares are now behind while AnyDVD always was behind in the past. Not anymore.

... And for the very first time since it's inception 5 years ago, the UN-supported UHD List is empty!!!!!!

Not sure how long it will last but for now, it means every UN-supported UHD reported is now working in AnyDVD.

When the UN-supported List passed it's 5th anniversary this past Feb 24, I decided to look closely at its current use and decide whether to continue it once it became empty...


It has certainly been beneficial during pre-keyfile times when the average wait to get UHD support was 32 days (ugh!).

But thankfully, keyfile use changed all that.

It's much more common now to get 1 and 2 day turn-around than 1 or 2 months!


But we have seen that not every title gets a key as quickly as 1 or 2 days.

There are still some titles that have taken as long as a month or more, even now.

One just got support after 188 days!!

In fact, the average time to support now is 6 days...


So because titles can still be unsupported for longer than just a few days, I think there remains a need to have a central place to publicly list them.

It lets everyone know those particular titles are still unsupported -- and more importantly that someone is looking into them.

No matter how sporadically longer-wait titles may come along.


So for now, the List will continue.

However, I'll be monitoring its use over the course of this month and will evaluate again in the beginning of April.

Put on the List October 30, 2022 where it stayed for a long time.


As soon as keyfile use was available, a key was found in a matter of days, as I recall -- July 17, 2023.


In fact I believe this was one of the very first titles supported using the keyfile...



Final number of days Listed: 260.


We were both extremely happy and relieved to get support for this title with the help of the keyfile!
