Today I got the new 4k Star Trek Movies.
-all are from Amz de
-Disc 1 from the Directors Edition of the first movie is not supported, but the second one is (indicating it might be the same disc as in the Standard Edition?)
-I don't bought the Standard Edition of the first movie, since I got the Directors Edition
-Star Trek 2 and 3 are supported (how if they just have been released today lol)
-Star Trek 6 gave me an OPT warning: HTTP error 12029

Could it mean an issue connecting to the AnyDVD server?
Probably better to run 6 through the Scanner again when this error does not occur to ensure it's really Unsupported.
DeepSpace, what you type into "Title" on the Scanner is essentially how they will appear on the List.
And as indicated in Post #1 we only list titles in English.
I see you have the English translation but the German should not be in the Title at all.
Since you have to re-scan 6 anyway, re-scan 4 and 5 and type English-only in for these 3 titles.

Exactly. It is not a common issue, but I've seen it a few times in other peoples posts.
I already did this to be sure, but that was directly after the first scan. I already intended to scan it again. I now copy the other discs and when I reach Movie 6, I will see if it is different. Otherwise I will check again in the next days.
This is not the translation, this is the official movie Title. Can't you just remove this part without the need to rescan it?

Sorry DeepSpace when I tried to process your report it wouldn't work, kicked out as bogus.
My guess is there are non-English characters in there which invalidated the report/made it unreadable by the program.
Afraid you'll need to re-submit the entire report, English titles and standard English characters only.
(I have run across this type of Scanner report rejection before and made a bullet point about non-English characters in Post #1 quite a while ago).

Since I already knew about how to use the scanner, I haven't looked at this post before scanning these discs, thinking I just have to scan it. Will do otherwise next time.
Since I didn't knew if I will scan it soon or in a few hours/tomorrow, I thought it is easier if you just remove these few words instead of scanning the discs again. I also assumed that you only have to remove a few words, but maybe there is more data affected by this that I can't see.

In the back of my mind I thought there was something not quite right there.

Nothing wrong with those characters.
Likely culprit would be things like "Zuruck" with those two dots over the second "u".
Good idea to check bulletins there every now and then.
Especially if you haven't been on the thread for a while.
This being your first title submission, it's definitely good to check there where the rules are laid out.
Which I would have done, if the report hadn't been rejected altogether by the report reader program.
At that point, it's out of my hands.

In german this would be ä, ö and ü, maybe ß as well.
Yeah, all those are illegal characters in the English language.
