I have no doubt that they are valid as they've always been scanned without MakeMKV installed. Not only are the Charlie Brown OPDs the same but they were originally taken long before MakeMKV ever saw the light on that machine.

Matter of fact, I have the same Morbius version that rdodolak does and with makeMKV active on my computer got the same OPD he got when his makeMKV wasn't installed.

Follow these directions carefully cause I call nonsense:

1) Temporarily disable AnyDVD for this...
2) Open the disc with MakeMKV, let it scan the disc and leave MakeMKV at the screen where you select the titles. You can just leave MakeMKV here
3) Open ImgBurn, read disc to ISO, and create a protected ISO
4) Remove the original disc
5) Enable AnyDVD
6) Mount the ISO and create a log with AnyDVD

Post the log. I want to see what the hell's going on here cause your drive is a UHD friendly drive so we know LibreDrive works with it. It's been tested a hundred times by now.

rdodolak has a so called DE firmware on his drive. This could be the root cause for that behavior compared to the later versions which are called MK firmware. For DE firmwares nothing has to be patched in firmware to enable Libredrive. It just works with Makemkv. @James , I could flash such a firmware for some investigation if you think it will be helpful. Then just post some log files.

Yes we should. But that's also why I wanted this test done because this looks like a makemkv issue more than anything.

Makes no difference at all. Mk firmware is just a restored de firmware.
