The movies are playing and downloading fine, it's an upgrade from not having the movie at all, a big upgrade, I am very sorry you sound upset, but not everyone can enjoy someone else's hard work.
In fairness to the OP, a backwards-step cannot, in any way, be reasonably described as an 'upgrade'; and
especially-not a 'big' upgrade. It's a 'downgrade', no matter how much spin is applied.
As for your sarcastic comment about how "...not everyone can enjoy someone else's hard work.", this is uncalled-for. The only circumstance in which your comment would be appropriate is that in which
Anystream was freeware. Perhaps you are conveniently forgetting that
Anystream comes with a hefty price-tag in which the reasonable expectation of the customer is a minimum status quo at the very least. While the developers take money in exchange for their "hard work", each and every customer has the right to express dissatisfaction if the software is retro-graded in any way - regardless of ToS or other Corporate-speak 'defence'.
Implicit in your defence of the downgrade of downloadable resolution, in the latest version of the software, is a willingness to accept a compromised product and, therefore, acceptance of further compromises to picture-resolution.
In other words you are running the risk of being dismissed as a mere Apologist - an outcome that should always be at the forefront of your mind when composing replies to disgruntled paid-up customers.
The 'all hail to the developers no matter what' attitude of many respondents in this thread, and numerous other threads, merely presents a
section of the
Anystream customer-base as a collective of timid mice who will accept any compromise dished-out to them and then prostrate themselves in grateful supplication.
So let's put an end to the nonsensical 'spin' about so obvious a downgrade being an
upgrade.
