You're missing the point: DRM wasn't an issue for the working titles that I was downloading in 1080p via 1.2.8.4 that are now limited to 540p in 1.2.9.0. That's not a step forward.

Forcing AP and NF to 540p is a piss-poor way of placating complaints of errors on the downloads as it obstructs us from being able to download titles that are actually available in 1080p. For example, I was downloading a batch from NF, all in 1080p and working, and got the notice about 1.2.9.0...

Make sure you check that those higher resolution videos from NF actually work. After a few minutes in, the video may drop out and you just have audio only.

Appears I spoke too soon. 3 out of 3 of them download, but when you play them, the video cuts out a few minutes in and just the audio works.

Not entirely true, but you were probably speaking from a semi-official position representing AS? I am in the USA, and the new Spiral movie is available on AP in the UK, but not available in the USA. Changed AS to UK, set NordVPN to UK, and was able to get Spiral.

The 2400x1800 version of Zak Snyder's Justice League is hvc1, so the colors are normal in it if you don't have Dolby Vision capable player+display.
