yes ati does work now there was a new release 5th jan to power dvd 10 ultra. semi 3d shows back depth and not forward. sounds very strange but trust me it does do as described.

Been using powerdvdHD since release and not had any issues. However latest patch on pdvd8 pops up with region code please set but has 0 retries. If i uninstall to original pdvd8 no problem. Logged a call with support couple days ago no answer yet. Anyone else use pdvd8 latest with vista 64...

I will try it without anydvd loaded and see what it says. I sugest if it is old titles its more to do with pdvd not understaning old style discs rather than their atempt to stop virtual drives.

I have had problems like this myself in the past. I am pretty sure the fix is update the firmware for your player. It would be nice if the error was more like " dont like your drives firmware " :) Let us know how you get on.

Be interesting to see if they did do something. wonder if yours is firmwared higher than mine. you using xp?

not sure if you read the whole post. IT NOW WORKS UPDATE FIXED IT.. OTHER PROGRAMS COULD SEE THE DISK but not anydvd.. so my guess is they changed something.... :)

must be other niblets in there :clap:did you fix some drive reading issues for blu-ray? had problems with dark city usa saying no disk is present but this version works fine. even with anydvdhd running other products imageburn and powerdvd could. PIONEER BD-ROMBDC-202 1.01...

6.4.6.0 fixes its own NO Disk is Present Issue Just tried Dark City USA and had simular problems this time it said no disk is present but again both imageburn and cyberlink pdvd 7 can see the diskeven when anydvdhd is running.. I can only guess its failing to see the region code...

Not sure if this help but anydvdHD is both products in one. it just allows HDDVD and Blu-Ray discs to be done as well. Also you can download the product for so many days trial. Can you telly actually support that resolution, i suspect at best it to be 720 or lower. Good luck.
