Note: this was from a previous post but relavant. read others below

not sure if anyone seen this but for some reason anydvd 6.4.5.5 (.6 too i think) say drive disabled?

Powerdvd 7 plays from the disk perfectly and imageburn detects accs.

not had a problem with any other disc.

not able to create a log at time of writing this or able to try 6.4.5.7 beta just wanted to see if anyone else seen this?

Create log file does not work when rambo is inserted.
For another disc such as Juno it does and the drive displays :

It knows theres a disc there as it tries to scan but seems to have trouble reading it.
Rambo comes up with
AnyDVD is disabled for Drive Y:!

Again ill point out it plays fine with powerdvd 7 and imageburn sees the disc and reports its accs protected.
Don't care much for the film as it was more for my friends so probably take it back just thought you would like to be aware of the issue.

Just tried Dark City USA and had simular problems

this time it said no disk is present but again both imageburn and cyberlink pdvd 7 can see the diskeven when anydvdhd is running..

I can only guess its failing to see the region code.

Anyway works fine now, not tried with rambo as that disk went back.

Just thought i'd let people know incase they have same problem as I'm using a pioneer drive and i can't be the only one.

Dark City (US) gives me no problems on LG or Sony drives

not sure what happened with the forum when posting. had some issues.

removed link as the conents of it are in this post.

cant be the only one with the pioneer drive as there arnt that many internal bd drives.

but it works now and from the beta notes nothing changed but a normal dvd update hence my post.
 
I have a pioneer at work, If I get time I'll give it a try although I'm not sure if I still have either of those 2 versions of AnydvdHD
