List of UHDs currently UN-supported in AnyDVD

Ok, that's fixed for the next version. I have another change I made that is informational only that's been sitting out there so I'll throw a new release together. But people are going to need to understand a few things about the release so testiles doesn't panic.

If you grab this release, it fixes the bug that was just reported about hitting the cancel button on selecting the ISO file.

There's another small change I made, as well:

When you have a new unsupported title you'll see a new *OPTIONAL* field called Year on the title info screen. This is not a required field. It may or may not end up being useful but I know on a few recent titles there's been lots of posts about what year it's from. This could end up being helpful, I don't really know. Again, this is optional.

This is the limited edition Target Exclusive and it also uses the OPD starting with 'e'. So it does, in fact, seem that they used this one OPD this time for all the U.S. released limited edition versions (Best Buy, Walmart, Target) of West Side Story '21 and then the other U.S. OPD for this title I assume is what they are using, for now, the regular edition. In the past, the Target limited often used a different OPD from the Best Buy limited and then the regular used a third OPD to start (and sometimes many more later on or even to start in the worst cases).

And I distinguish between editions since, in the past, various editions often had the OPD cracked at different times, sometimes even months apart (Target exclusives especially would at times lag longer than other editions). (And for overseas specials the OPD have no proven to sometimes lag years unworking beyond what other editions do.) So the particular edition I do consider to be pretty important when it comes to OPDs.

Guys --


It's important to point out that this is the Year the movie itself was made - and not the year the UHD was released.


As stated, it's optional and I only really need it if there is more than one movie with the same title -- in order to differentiate them by the year made.


Serenity is a good example as there's a 2005 movie and a completely different one from 2019.

I mentioned Serenity because a lot of people don't seem to realize there are 2 movies with that name.

It's something that just came up the other day.

When trying to copy the UHD 'No time to die' I got lots of read errors. I downloaded the tool AnyDVD Scanner (1.0.7.6) and run it (Win 10 64bit). There is only Disk mode avaiable. Nevertheless I started scanning of the UHD (and other Blurays as well), but there is no output written to the panel. Have I missed something important?
 
Yea, don't scan discs with read errors. You need to sort that out first. Please open a separate thread with an AnyDVD log file for the disc so it can be checked out. The scanner is not going to help fix disc issues, it's only meant to report on their status.
