I'm not getting this, and I've worked a little with audio and video. if there is a dead air, white noise, or some frequency that Cinavia resides, so the player recognizes it and the firmware picks it up, then why can't a conversion program that is converting audio, check for it, and do whatever it has to do when converting the audio?
Oh sure. Piece of cake. NOT! LOL! One would have to either record over it, or remove it completely. One cannot simply do it, without affecting the audio quality. Yet...
Not to mention, identifying the watermark.
Sorry if this has been asked. Will Slyce be able to merge the m2ts files of a seamless branch into one m2ts file (similar to what Clown_BD does, keep the original 1:1 copy and structure, just with a single m2ts file). This would eliminate many of the issues media players encounter with seamless branch
Alternatively you could just look for the logo on the packaging
The Losers, the very first Cinavia disc, didn't have the logo (at least here in the States); AFAIK every Cinavia disc since does.No not the plastic wrap packaging. on the back of the cover artwork. Where you usually find the movie synopsis. If the logo isn't present then it isn't on the disc.
... one of the reasons for Slyce's release being delayed becomes clearer.
Who wants Cinavia removal anyway?
