Is it just me or are there alot of people discovering the same fails. I've been watching the forum and there seem to be countless people who
a) their drive won't recognize certain original discs.
b) burned discs freeze up.
Ultimately it always gets blamed on a) your drive is dying
b) you may not have updated firmware, anydvd, dvdclone etc.
c) its the discs
But I've changed my drive, used multiple varieties of dvd, and everything is up to date.
This seems to have started around the time anydvd started tweeking hd. could it be affecting drives?
Why is it that multiple people get the sam types of fails in waves?
The last wave of fails I was noticing before this was that lionsgate films were not ripping(saw 3, crank, etc) yet somehow every response I saw to that was" maybe your original was scratched" "maybe its the discs you use" etc
When I know for a fact that it seemed to be all the same studio, and if you removed bogus menus you could bypass their trick/encryption and rip the movie.
Why is it I never here, yeah we've found something and we're working on it please bear with us we appreciate your patience. Its always something else(until you come out with a new version that is) and then that problem disappears and a new wave shows up with a different problem and the same answers,(drive, firmware, dvd type, or goodness forbid someone elses software instead of clonedvd in conjunction with anydvd because that would be the culprit then)
Now dont get me wrong, I love my any dvd, its just that I've noticed these same fails and a total washing of hands that comes with them.
PS. i've been trying to get my email removed as my handle, Ive been told to contact the administrator but not told how to. Ive written to customer service and also got no reply. Could I possibly get a link or an email address of someone who can take care of this.
