c. I was using the “ Rip Video DVD to Hardisk “ function \ Trying to open disk
4. Not using Clonedvd
5. There were no packet writing software from the list to be removed

YES you missed one:
As soon as structural protections are detectected, you should use the AnyDVD ripper and rip the DVD to a folder. Then import that rip into DVDShrink.

Is this claim true? if it is how about anydvd have an option to automatically open the anydvd ripper if it detects structural protection.
It does not have to be a default option just available for those who want it.

No. Not all of us are using DvdShrink or programs that can't handle structural protection.

It does not have to be a default option just available for those who want it.

The feature is available if you need it.

You don't need to rip to hard drive first with Anydvd if you're using Clonedvd.

The AnyDVD ripper and the CloneDVD ripper BOTH remove structural protections, AS they rip. You can import that rip into anything you want from there.

I am using AnyDvd to rip them , but it will not let me rip it , thats when I get the error " CloneMap 2" .

I tried DVD Shrink along with AnyDVD , no luck
And AnyDVD sepereate using the rip to harddrive , no luck

Please update to AnyDVD 6.4.7.9: http://static.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6479.exe

Does the problem still occur? Please post new log files created using the new version and post them.

Please open the AnyDVD preferences and hit the Default button. Now try.

Other than that I am currently at a loss. The disc hasn't been officially released yet so there isn't too much that can be done since only you seem to have it and having problems at this point.

Odds are you're (we're) going to have to wait for an AnyDVD update after the disk is released.

Someone with an early copy could send it in if needed - we have 2 weeks yet.

Provide a full error message and upload the Anydvd .zip log file please.

Yes. I know. I want an extra set of log files. I'd like a full Clonedvd error message as well if possible.

I have forwarded this information to James before. Not much more I can do

The problem is the dvd isn't officially released yet.

You said you needed another logfile...would mine be of help to you?
