Pay close attention to step 3. If after doing step 3, you still get a "disc is too big" or whatever message for Shrink, you can typically ignore it.
Pixellation is often due to using crap blank discs and the wrong burn speed.
Use an 8x or 12 burn speed when using 16x rated blank media. Click

1. Use Anydvd 6.5.3.4 beta: click
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/beta/SetupAnyDVD6534.exe
You may need to reboot after installing if prompted to do so.
2. Click the red fox icon on your toolbar. Click "default". Click "ok".
3. If you're not using Clonedvd, Clonecd, DVD Rebuilder, DVDNextCopy, or programs that generally can't handle structural protections properly, then right-click on the fox icon on your toolbar, and select "Rip video-dvd to Hard Disk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. You can then import that rip into whatever program you want. This is an important step if the original disc contains structural protection.

You don't need to do this if you own Clonedvd or are planning to make a backup with Clonecd.

E. What blank media are you using? Specify
- brand name
- type (-R, +R, -RW, +RW, RAM, DL, ...),
- media code (I really want this),
- capacity/size,
- batch codes/serial codes (often found printed on the inner plastic hub of the blank disc), and
- country (factory information would be great as well, if possible) where the media was made (look on the physical packaging; do not rely on programs to accurately give you this information).
If you don't know how to obtain media codes, you may find the following programs useful:
