[Resolved] CloneDVD hangs, Option write data

updated chipset.
yesterday clonedvd hangs at the end : popup window to eject disc didn't popup ! had to restart but the disc wasn't wasted !
I noticed when I write to a DVD-Rw disc I don't have that problem ....
strange HP laptop troubles .....

Hi,
I have the same problem.
I updated the write.dll and deleted the .wav.
Sometimes it works but sometimes I still get the same error.

ok Web, thanks ! what do need to do because I have no knowledge about that topic (nvidia). I also have send this to the HP service.

this is what Elby says :
The DVD writer has to write a so-called "finalization" on the DVD after burning. There it writes a marker on the DVD, so that the reading device knows that the disc ends here and where to go from that (e.g. to the start sequence, usually the menu). Now some writers tend to hang while finalizing the disc. Sometimes the disc is bad (e.g. the recording dye is too thin towards the end of the disc - cheaper to produce) or the writer needs a firmware update. If the writer hangs during the finalization for several minutes, you can turn the PC off. The produced DVD works without a lead-in and lead-out at its end.
Best regards,
Peter Nord

what can I do about the NVIDIA problem?
I already updated write.dll. I use Verbatim blancs.
No firmware available (HP). No filter problems.
I'll put cloneDVD at 4300gb.
Its a pity it doesn't work like on my desktop (XP); not one problem with anyDVD or CloneDVD ...
HP DV-7 1160 laptop sucks !
greetingzzz

where can I find it?
Control panel System Device Manager ....
none of the hardware has NVIDIA drivers except the Screen Monitor

grafical card = NVIDIA GForce
chipset motherboard = Intel® PM45 Express Chipset

I have no idea!
where can it come from?
When I look at taskmanager processes running I don't see it !
Shall I provide another AnyDVDlog to re-verify?

This goes beyond supporting Clonedvd. I recommend calling HP and asking why you have nvstor.sys running on a computer using an Intel based motherboard.

I've mailed HP but they haven't a clue what's going on .... :(
thanks anyway for the help but it looks like a dead end here...

Please open the Windows Explorer (Windows-E key).
Right-click My Computer, click Properties, click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
Under CD/DVD your DVD devices are listed. Please tell us the full, unabriged name of the DVD writer.

What exact version number of CloneDVD do you use? You can find the version number when clicking on the two lazy sheep on the CloneDVD start screen.

What output size did you choose (DVD-5, DVD+/-R DL)?
With output size we mean the little box beneath the title list on this screen:

What blanks do you use (brand name, type, writing speed, producing country)?

Do you get an error message? What does it say?
