HBOMax - Japanese audio only in AS, Japanese & English on site

For Earwig and the Witch AS is only showing Japanese audio. But when I pull up the title on the website it shows Japanese and English available.

Sorry if this has already been reported, search didn't return anyone else with issue.

I was looking at a French film on HBOMax. Just as with your case, the HBOMax web player reported both French and English. Both sounded like French to me.
This was "THE YOUNG GIRLS OF ROCHEFORT"
I you have not already, you might verify that the web browser really has both English and Japanese audio available.

The problem - and the cause - is known.

These titles have - unexpectedly for AnyStream - multiple versions of the video (probably due to some localized, language-dependent images in the video).
AnyStream picks the first video (it expected only one) and gets the Japanese one which is associated with only the Japanese audio.

Still pondering on how to solve this most elegantly.

Jujutsu Kaisen on HM has this problem. All episodes but the last one are in english. The last episode is in Japanese. For anime, I think most people I know prefer the original language instead of the dub.
