AnyDVD HD was working (latest version) until I added Hyper-V server on the same machine. After adding Hyper-V server role on Windows 10, AnyDVD failed to launch with an error stating unrecognized license but correctly identified the license. I tried reinstalling AnyDVD and re-applying the license. Nothing worked until I removed Hyper-V server and rebooted then it is working again. Just to be clear, I was not trying to run AnyDVD on a virtual machine. Have anyone seen this before? I wanted to run VMs on the machine that I use AnyDVD on. Unrelated to each other.

I am making a wild guess.
Did that happen Sunday, 18 December 2022?
If yes, there was a server issue causing an error with AnyDVD licenses.
Which was fixed on the same day. This could be a coincidence that at the same time you removed Hyper-V, the Server problem was solved.

It happened today. Yes. I ran into the issue just after midnight 17th into 18th. I did not restore it until around 2pm or so on the 18th. I will try loading Hyper-V again and see what happens. Just my luck that the two would occur simultaneously. Crossing fingers and will reply back after I test it. Thank you for replying with the information.

I just re-added Hyper-V server to the machine and AnyDVD HD started and appears to be working normally. I must say the timing of the server issue does appear to be the culprit. Thank you again for posting. I am much happier now that I can have them both running. :)
