You ain't kidding. This new AnyDVD ripper code is fantastic! I just played around with Pursuit of Happyness using the ripper...truly awesome! You will be quite pleased with the results.
I can tell you that it's making me sing and dance...(ohh, what a horrible thought! I suck at both! ) James, this is truly a remarkable piece of code you put in there. Well done! It deserves the all-singing-all-dancing(tm) label for sure!
Someone here is reporting an issue with Anydvd ripper: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1770154&postcount=22 (works fine with Clonedvd though, so /shrug)
Sigh. Can't reproduce this problem. I'll keep an eye on it. (Again, I would recommend CloneDVD2 over the ripper anyway, as bogus titles can be deselected manually, so if a user owns CloneDVD2, he should use it to copy to harddisk) The ripper is not required or recommended if you use CloneDVD2 as your transcoding / remuxing / burning application.
Yeah, I think my response would have been if you own Clonedvd, which that individual does, then don't use Anydvd ripper.
Wow. I'm impressed. I hope us users didn't cause you too many headaches. Thank you for listening! I'll try it out on a movie very soon.
Congratulations go to SamuriHL, who found the first bug in the new DVD ripper: It will abort with a "FileIO 1" error, if the Volume label of the disc to copy has spaces at the end. An example is "The Queen", R1. Be very careful if you copy a disc with an empty volume label! If the rip is aborted and you are asked, if the created files should be deleted, answer with "NO"! Otherwise a lot of files from your harddisk may be deleted! I already fixed it, next beta will be available soon.
Woot!!!! James you rock!!!! You may now sit on the beach. -W (just found this - busy season is upon me)

I find it odd that when I edit the title of the first post of a thread (to 6.1.4.2 in this case), the thread title still indicates what existed originally (6.1.4.1) . . . Anyway, I had no problems installing 6.1.4.2.
