Not a RedFox Issue What is the best AS codec for low res video?

That's what I'm thinking. TV may have some AI sh!t going on to correct in real time.

Not a RedFox Issue What is the best AS codec for low res video?

That's exactly what I did. The cleanest is still not as good as streaming direct.

Not a RedFox Issue What is the best AS codec for low res video?

AVC CBR looks best, but nowhere close to streaming direct. I don't get it. I don't understand where the loss comes from.

Not a RedFox Issue What is the best AS codec for low res video?

I downloaded Phantom 2040 from Amazon. This is a 1994 animated series. Native resolution was probably no better than NTSC (720×480?) When I watch it live on Amazon, the details and the noise is nowhere as bad as what I get when downloaded. What should I use for best results. AVC CBR, AV CVBR or...

Request When the problem with the DRM issues will be clarified?

I'd watch that too, even in 540p :ROFLMAO:

Best Buy Is Out of the DVD and Blu-ray Business, and Now So Is Disney

Sound was better on vinyls but they were, big, fragile and can't hold as much as digital medias. If all goes to stream, home audio and video will take a dramatic drop in quality.

Discussion 1.8.2.0 Release Year Folder Creation Issue (regression?)

@cartman0208 I use TinyMediaManager ak TinyMM aka TMM for that which is pretty good at tapping into movie databases to not only format file/folders/metadat but also populate the folder with a sh!tload of useful information such as posters, cast, sysnopsys, etc... Even though provider dates are...

Discussion 1.8.2.0 Release Year Folder Creation Issue (regression?)

Dates are always correct... sort of. Since I use the exact syntax you posted I get either: -no date or bracket at all - explained by dates are only given by Amazon. Yeah. -two folders including one with the proper date and another with "(XXXX)" - Meh! -Or the exact thing as expected (proper...

Discussion 1.8.2.0 Release Year Folder Creation Issue (regression?)

Looks like I misplaced the space "< (%y)>" vs " <(%y)>" No more errors with your code, but no dates either. I don't know if it's because no dates are given by the provider, but all the ones I tried came up with no dates. Regardless, amongst all the challenges that you guys have, adding a more...

Discussion 1.8.2.0 Release Year Folder Creation Issue (regression?)

I found the issue reported here https://forum.redfox.bz/threads/1-6-6-1-release-year-folder-creation-issue.88413/post-617515 It doesn't say if it has been resolved. This issue is still present in 1.8.2.0 I get XXXX instead of year in the folder name. %p/%n (%y)/%n_S%sE%e_%t = Reboot- The...

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

That's right to a point. I can access and view US content available with basic Prime services. But I got a message yesterday from Amazon telling me I must have a US based billing address when I tried to buy/rent extra content. Oh and I even got a Enjoy your trip notification, telling me that...

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

EDIT: Turned out I was using a crappy VPN service. Switching to another VPN provider resolved the issue. Prime now behaves the same in AS as it does in Browsers.

    Request Provider ici.tou.tv extra (https://ici.tou.tv/categorie/extra)

Unless it is geofenced, then to your point, accessibility would be limited. Did you try to access it? There are approximately 444 million people in the world who come from a country where French is the official language. In addition, 98 million people come from a country where French is...

    Request Provider ici.tou.tv extra (https://ici.tou.tv/categorie/extra)

I searched for it and didn't find it. ici.tou.tv is a small provider, not well known, but with excellent French material. Free section is limited, but the EXTRA(paying services) has a good selection.

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

Chrome/FF/Edge requires to have Secure DNS enabled, which is not set properly by default. "AnyStream requires to know which region you are in beforehand", I chose US, as I do with browsers to end up on Amazon.COM

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

Fair enough guys, log will follow shortly. Back at the DNS leaks part. I was getting VPN/Proxy notification in browsers as long as I had DNS leaks. To completely resolve it and have access to US content in browsers I had to take actions: At the OS/Network interface level; At the VPN...

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

Ok maybe I missed it. What part of your answers explains why I can view Amazon US content with VPN ON in browsers but not in Anystream? First you said Amazon always use billing Country -> Well, as the picture shows, in Firefox, Amazon allows me to view US content only with my Canadian Account...

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

Maybe my question was not clear enough. Let's try this one: Why Amazon redirects me to the country in AS but not in Firefox? Here's other interesting facts. When in Canada, no VPN enabled, Amazon.ca search engine doesn't find the show; When in Canada, no VPN enabled, Amazon.com (US) search...

    Resolved Amazon Prime with VPN

    1) Why can I view the show with my browsers while using the VPN? 2) The show is not available in my region. That's why I use the VPN. If I disable the VPN I can't access that show. I was told AS is a specialized browser. What makes it special so it triggers Amazon VPN/Proxy detection while...
