That's right to a point. I can access and view US content available with basic Prime services.The availability of content is not tied to from where you paid for it, only to where you're watching it.
But I got a message yesterday from Amazon telling me I must have a US based billing address when I tried to buy/rent extra content.
Oh and I even got a Enjoy your trip notification, telling me that the marvelous content available now, might not be available when I get back home due to content availability varies from one country to another.
As far as I'm concern CASE CLOSED, issue is resolved for both Prime and Netflix.
Here's what I learned in the process:
- Not all VPNs are equals (https://ipdata.co/) check for VPN/Proxy detection and other "threats"
- DNS Leaks matters (https://www.dnsleaktest.com)
