I found the problem has something to do with nero not shrink. most of us that have shrink also have nero. both of my new litey drives that wasn't working before in shrink are now working,..SH-16A7S sata and 20x LH-20A1H if shrink isn't working for you I will bet in shrink prefferences you...

has anyone been able to use anydvd & any other program other than clonedvd2 with a 16a7s sata. anydvd is not removing all the protects on the fly with shrink or recode2,..but it does work with clonedvd2. I still can't figure out why this 16x's and my litey 20x's only work with clonedvd2,...yet...

can some tell me why if I rip with anydvd then I can use recode2 to compress. but if I go to recode2 import disk it tells gives me error it can't read the vob_1 file:doh: :eek:

I will be using verbatim 8x DL +R disks. I want to do this so there will be no compression of the movies that are over 1hr, 45min's playing time. I don't want to copy the whole disk and I don't want any menus or anything else, just english sub-titles. So can clonedvd2 do this or should I use...

I was thinking about getting some DL disks, I buy from Meritline. some of the disks descriptions say "double layer" some say duel layer some say duel layer/double layer. Is there some kind of difference:doh: :confused:

would there be any real movie quality difference between nero and clonedvd once a movie was written to my hard drive using clonedvd2. :confused: thanks in advance.

I just updated to the new ver 6.1.3.0 and now it doesn't seem to work for me as good as 6.1.2.3. Is there anyway to get back??? thanks in advance
