has anybody been able to convert a blu ray title with the divx converter or with Dr. Divx successfully yet??? I can't get either one of the programs to accept the blu ray files.

Problems backing up "Full Of It" Is anybody else having problems backing up this movie? It has the interactive player that starts to run when the disc is inserted and i"ve tries several different programs to back it up and they all either lock up or won't run at all? Any Help???

To Answer my own question and inform others...I found a Firmware update on Samsungs website and installed it and the disc read perfectly fine. Guess I should do more research before posting!!!

ther was a company called 321 studios a few years ago that put out a software called dvd x rescue. I have a copy of this and it works great. I bet if you do a google search you can find somebody who still sells it.

There was a company called 321 studios a few years ago that had a software out call DVD X Rescue. This was its only purpose backing up scratched dvd's. I have the software and bet it can still be found doing a search on google.

I too have both a BLU RAY and HD DVD player and have had the same experience. All kinds of problems with playback of BLU RAY with minute scratches poses HD DVD with minute scratches that have played back perfectly.

Is this for burning to a blu ray disc or a dvd disc? The reason for this right now is the price of a blank blu ray disc versus a blank dvd.

same question. I too have been trying to compress the evo files. I'v tried regular divx, I've tried Dr. Divx, and i've tried WMV9, none of these programs recognize the evo files. Has anybody had any luck with anything else? Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Are there any Hd DVD drives out on the market yet other than the xbox 360 drive? And if so where can I find one?

I use WMRecorder version 10.2. It does an excellent job recording all Windows Media streaming files. The also have a version for Real Media streaming files. The software con be found at www.applian.com
