Well, over the days I have opened/closed the drives (with the original discs in them). I have rebooted a few times. I stil get only 1 playlist per disc. Some time ago more discs could be decoded without internet access. Could this have introduced a bug that AnyDVD won't go look for new info if...

This is a dutch bluray (Lumière). The movie plays ok with TMT, but in Kodi I get 200+ playlists to choose from. Thanks!

I just ripped a disc to iso, disc.inf has a 'playlists=631' line, but it is not on the top of the list in Kodi (17.beta1). Maybe Kodi does internally some sorting?

Then you don't have many discs from "Lumière"? About 50% of their discs have it, and they are doing it about 2 years...

Well, each playlist directory contains more than 300 .mpls files, and with same duration. I don't know which to take in Kodi... See attached png files:
