This happens to me from time to time, the last was with Burn Notice season 1. 2 episodes on the second disk just wouldn't copy no matter what. I ended up exchanging the set. The replacement copied just fine.

So that's what happened. Spybot SD ran early this morning and took out the desktop shortcut for some reason, oddly enough that was all it took out. After I updated Spybot a re-install fixed that but I couldn't figure out why it happened in the first place.

If AVG is disabled the warning message, when rebooted, and the "no install" result if you click "Ignore", remains. I'll just have to wait till AVG fixes this ( and no, I'm not happy.:mad:).

clicking "Ignore" in AVG doesn't help ... Just by chance I ripped the two movies I wanted to my Hdd before I installed the update. What happens it that it appears to install but never reappears in the System Tray.:( Waiting on the AVG correction.

The guys have given you the answer, rip the movie to the hard drive first and then have CloneDVD Mobile take it from there. I have Clone DVD already so I use that but nothing says you can't use the ripper in AnyDVD instead.

Invalid file type ? What file type do you get ? Right click on the movie in iTunes, click on Get Info and tell us what turns up in Summary. The whole thing please starting with "Kind" which should read MPEG-4 video file and ending with the video codec.
