Veep: Season 5: Disc 1 DVD Issues

Hi everyone! I'm having issues backing up Veep Season 5 Disc 1 DVD.

I did the usual, check the forum, upgrade to the latest beta version but no dice.

Is this some kind of new protection? Logs attached.

Sorry about that. This is HBO's US home release DVD set - Veep: The Complete Fifth Season, Disc 1, 2000126152

So far -

Disc works fine in two known good players, an Oppo BDP-103 and older LG BD390
HandBrake freaks out during scan, drive RPM goes from zero to max and back again, hangs at Title 3 of 13 (58%)
AnyDVD Rip to HDD fails at Titleset 1, 35% with the error - FileIO 3 VTS_01_01.VOB 2519490560 276480
AnyDVD Rip to ISO (for use with virtual CloneDrive) fails with error - Error reading from drive D:! Sectors 1213740-1213769

This looks like a defective and / or dirty disc and / or drive to me.
 
Gotcha, ruled out the drive as it happens on another Win 7 laptop. Will request another disc and report back. Thanks!
 
If u don't, then we don't either. You're not exactly saying if you have a problem with anything.
