Your drive's firmware is outdated. The lastest is CP56

1. Update your drive's firmware: http://www.liteonit.com/global/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=154

Afc (system32\drivers\Afc.sys), Version: 1.0.0.2 (1.0.0.2)

Product: Arcsoft(R) ASPI Shell

Description: Arcsoft(R) ASPI Shell
FileVersion: 1, 0, 0, 2
ProductVersion: 1, 0, 0, 2

ArcCD (system32\drivers\ArcCD.sys), Version: 1.0.0.10 (1.0.0.10)
Company: ArcSoft Inc.
Product: ArcSoft UDF Reader
Copyright: Copyright (C) 2006-2007, ArcSoft, Inc. All rights reserved.
Description: ArcCD.sys ReadOnly
FileVersion: 1, 0, 0, 10
ProductVersion: 1, 0, 0, 10

These arcsoft filters may cause conflicts/strange issues with Anydvd.

2.
i) Create a backup of your registry
ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download
(it's also an excellent program imo)
iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "ArcCD". Click "Remove Selected filter". click "ok" Select "Afc". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok".
iv) Reboot

Keep in mind that whatever programs installed those entries in your registry may no longer function properly.

3. If you still get read errors (the discs are likely faulty), visit http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=12460

see the -->temp2.JPG

Go through the steps I listed.

And then . ..

from http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=14798

14. Anydvd can't see or detect my disc (or my drives can read cds and not dvds or vice versa). What should I do?

a) Keep your license key file backed up safely
b) Uninstall Anydvd (start-->all programs-->Slysoft--->Anydvd-->Uninstall)
c) Reboot
d) Check to see if your system ("my computer") now reports a disc in drive. Do you see a proper disc structure? Do you see folders or files?

If the answer is "no" to "d)", then Anydvd isn't your problem. As Anydvd is not on your system, Anydvd can't interfere or block the reading process. Possibly your reader or burner is slowing dying, the original disc is bad, or a number of other possibilities exist as well (including messed up ide/sata busdrivers, bad cable on the back of the drive, etc.)

Anydvdhd 6.4.7.3 can't decrypt contain many master files BD+ disc?

As i know, before this time all BD+ blu-ray discs is one big master file(2xG-3xG),
Dr. No, From Russia With Love, Thunderball, Live and Let Die, For Your Eyes Only;
They are also one big master file, and they can rip to Hard disk.

I follow Webslinger list step, still can't rip Die Another Day:bang:

James or peer will have to comment on the really technical aspects of BD+ if they wish.

On top of what Webslinger advised, I would also remove two more filters:

drvmcdb (system32\drivers\drvmcdb.sys), Version: 3.20.83.1 (1.0.0.1)
Company: VERITAS Software, Inc.
Copyright: Copyright c VERITAS Software, Inc.
Description: Device Driver
FileVersion: 3.20.83b

sscdbhk5 (system32\drivers\sscdbhk5.sys), Version: 1.10.30.1 (1.0.0.1)
Company: VERITAS Software, Inc.
Copyright: Copyright c VERITAS Software, Inc.
Description: Shared Driver Component
FileVersion: 1.10.30b

  1. Create a backup of your registry
  2. Download ImgBurn (freeware) here: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download.
  3. Start ImgBurn and go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order....
  4. Select "drvmcdb". Click Remove Selected Filter. Click OK.
  5. Select "sscdbhk5". Click Remove Selected Filter. Click OK.
  6. Reboot

Whatever programs installed those filters may no longer work properly. If you reinstall the software that installed those filters the software will work again but I would not recommend doing so.

After removing the filters and rebooting please create new log files and post them. Try making a backup again, as well.

So if you turn off AnyDVD can you see the disc in windows explorere? can you copy it without AnyDVD running? If not then you most likely have a faulty disc as the BD+ should only cause problems on playback and not on the actual copying side. I have many BD+ discs and you can make an exact ISO of the disc even without AnyDVD HD running and it'll copy fine, it's only when you try to play back the ISO that the copy protection kicks in and it gives you errors

Does the latest release version (I believe 6.4.6.9) work with this disc?
Please uninstall 6.4.7.3 and try 6.4.6.9
Thank you!

So what happens if you do like I suggested and make an ISO with AnyDVD HD disabled? Will it make one or does it fail?

Thank you for the log! I was asking, because you are talking about a different disc. I can only assume law1987 (the OP) is talking about the US version (he never said ... :( ) and you are using the UK version. The volume label is different. The logs are different. But the problem seems similar. ;)

I'll ask Peer to contact you for more information.

sorry, my disc is US version, and i will buy HK version later......

Same issue here with US disc. AnyDVD doesn't even see it. New BD+?

I can see the files on the disc with or without AnyDVD enabled, just not all of them. There's nothing big enough to be the main movie.

The disk might use seamless branching, where a bunch of smaller m2ts files are played in a specific sequence to make the movie, so there would not be one large m2ts file.

Very true. So, the real thing to do is see how much space the visible files do take up.

cannot make a copy *die another day* blu-ray

i have done some analsing on this disc and i see that it has a strong version of BD+ enabled!

log file states AACS & BD+ both not removed! also the bdsvm directory is blank (o bytes inside).

has anyone from Slysoft checked into this ? :(
