So do I try again?

So I tried to order and go this in my email - followed by a call from the bank to see if the last two purchases were authorized.

I said they were indeed authorized. So does that mean it will go through, or is that a permanent fail requiring me to try again?

Thanks!

Dear Clams, (edited)

Thank you for placing an order at redfox.bz.

Unfortunately we have to inform you that the transaction could not be

If that message is from the website, did you close the browser (or clear cache) before trying again?

I have done nothing so far pending instructions from here.
I will clear cache AND close and restart browser - and try again.

@Clams
Same message I got the first time
I retried and entered my other phone number, (I have more than one and didn't remember which is on record with Visa)
Second time went through with no trouble
Info must be exact with what is on record with Visa
P.S.
do like mmdavis said --- clear your cache before reattempting

I'm on FireFox and I also had to clear my shop.redfox.bz cookie or I could not reenter a different card or edit information.

I'll try again with other phone - but that makes no sense.
When the bank called they called the same phone I used on the order form.
I tried again with same phone and got:

Order O96-BW6

Carefully compare the information you are entering with the info with Visa ( use a bill to see)
Middle initial, address (ave vs avenue) etc

Error 66
Acceptor Contact Acquirer, Security
Fail
The customer’s bank has declined the transaction and
request the Merchant to contact the bank.
The
customer should use an alternate credit card
.

I just did. We remembered my wife had an old unused Visa - and that WORKED!
Now... the new problem is that it's registered to HER name and email address.
That could have been my error in filling out the form - but it needs fixing none the less.
Even if that fix means to "blacklist" her key and emailing ME a key, it needs fixing.

PS:
I applied the new key to her PC (in the theater room)
My PC - the one that does 90% of the rippings.
And the NEW laptop - in case we need to do a rip "out in the world".

The Shop PC, parlor PC, garage PC, and the OLD laptop will stay on the Slysoft key.
They don't do any real "lifting"....

For that other issue clams I'd suggest contacting billing support through the forum. That request is not something that can be handled through the forum.

I will - but I'll wait till the "mad rush" is over and they can come up for some air.
I noted it here... so that it's no surprise later.

@Clams, in my case I was initially denied as you were. Several minutes later (15?) I tried the exact same card, after closing my browser, reentered the exact same personal/CC information and the payment went through.

Over an hour later(!) I received an automated Visa Fraud Protection phone call. I verified my identity and in a couple of minutes verified both tries to buy my RedFox licenses were legitimate, along with several other purchases I had made days and weeks before.
