chicken and egg scenario
Beta operating systems are likely not to perform like the predecessor - this is why companies run beta programs in the first place.
And as for the "why does everyone..." statement, if a software product works with all other existing Windows products and suddenly does not with a new one, who gets the call to fix that? Think about it. And also remember, Microsoft admitted Vista was a bomb some weeks ago by advising XP users NOT to upgrade to Vista but to wait until Windows 7 is official. And when it IS official, then that is the time to speak about compatibility issues, not while Microsoft is still tightening screws and things.
windows 7 is currently still in beta stages, you do not 'buy' it, it is free to beta testers.
And why does everyone assume that this is the fault of windows 7?
It is a problem with ANY DVD not being compatible with the operating system.
Why should microsoft change their operating system for this program?
Slysoft need to make this compatible with windows 7, not the other way.
