PowerDVD 21 Ultra, Build Number 5111

Description

Install this patch to add support for Intel 14th-generation Core CPUs (Meteor Lake)

Note: This patch is not for PowerDVD subscription version, hardware bundled/pre-installed versions, volume license, or versions purchased via the Microsoft Store and Steam.

Install this patch to add support for Intel 14th-generation Core CPUs (Meteor Lake)

Updates the code certificate to ensure the latest security compliance.

Personal note: This patch will probably remove the ability of PowerDVD 21 Ultra to be able to play without issue all 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, ISOs, and folders, so I'd advise anyone that has a paid copy of PowerDVD 21 Ultra to not install this patch for PowerDVD 21 Ultra.

Cyberlink has removed all prior patches for PowerDVD 21, so if you install this patch, you're on your own in removing it and downgrading your system to a prior working status.

Reason being that the latest version of PowerDVD 22 Ultra removed the ability to play 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, ISOs, and folders back in January, and I wouldn't be surprised if this patch for PowerDVD 21 Ultra does the same thing.

So, if you're one of the lucky ones that has a paid copy of PowerDVD 21 Ultra, don't install this latest update!

For those that own PowerDVD 21 Ultra and want to make sure that you don't inadvertently install the latest update, please check out this link I posted back in January that allows you to turn off your check for the latest PowerDVD version:

Do this and you'll never worry again about installing a version of PowerDVD 21 Ultra that will remove your ability to play 4K UHD Blu-ray discs, ISOs, and folders.

4K MKVs aren't affected at all, so you'll always be able to play them without any trouble whatsoever.
