same here the dvd will not back up using 7.0.2.6.( not blue ray)

Same thing with me. I'm in California also. It just keeps scanning stating it will be available shortly.

Your disc is the DVD, not the BluRay. We'll check into this. The situation is not at all the same for these discs.

What happens if you try to create a log zip and allow 5 minutes or more?

i am still having the same problem just spins and will not talk to the disc

Yeah, I jumped too soon. We're still working on this one.
Once in a while we can't be first.
 
also beta v 7.0.2.7 will not back up mi4 tried it on 2 different drives just keeps spinning it is a no go any fix coming down the pipe?

Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol

Found solution! Close AnyDVD. Insert MI4 DVD. Start AnyDVD. It recognises the disc straight away without all the endless scanning. My copy with CloneDVD worked fine. BTW, DVDFab appears to be able to copy titles, but the chapters are mixed up.
