LG BH16NS55 with SVC code NS55 - UHD friendly?

Hello,

I've just bought a LGBH16NS55 and it says its SVC code is NS55 and was manufactured in September 2018. Can I still downgrade the firmware on this drive from 1.03 to 1.02?

If so, what is the best method to use?

Thanks for this. I have seen this.

My question is whether this would still work as my SVC code is NS55 and not NS50. Does this make any difference?

It does. Make sure you flash the correct firmware for your drive. I believe the firmware for you NS55 is in the linked firmware archive that also contains the flasher.

I just thought I'd provide an update for anyone who comes across this thread at a later time...

I download the file posted in post 579 in the thread below and it was really easy to downgrade my firmware. All I had to do was select the file appropriate for my drive - that was it. Whole process was less than 2 minutes. Thanks to everyone who has made this process so easy to do
