Guten morgen liebe HD-Freunde,
ich habe mir die HD-DVD "Riddick" - Directors Cut zugelegt.
Ich spiele mit WinDVD 9 plus blu ray ab. Die HD-DVD besteht aus 2 Layern.
Nun ist es so, dass die Video-Ausgabe immer im 4:3-Format startet, als ob eine anamorphe Ausgabe korrigiert werden soll. Die Ausgabe an sich scheint HD zu bleiben, jedoch skaliert auf 4:3 (schwarze Balken rechts und links auf meinen 16:10 Samsung Syncm. 205 BW - hat HDCP).
Bildkorrekturen sind in WINDVD 9 kaum möglich, da die Software noch nicht ausgereift ist und beim Aspielen von HD-DVDs und Blu rays alle Manipulationen auszuschalten weiß...
AnyDVD gestartet, alle Haken gesetzt, die man setzen kann - keine Wirklung auf den Fehler (hatte den Verdacht, dass es eine HDCP-Korrektur ist) Meldung von AnyDVD:
Media is a HD DVD.
Booktype: hd-dvd (version 3), Layers: 2 (opposite)
Size of first Layer: 7083200 sectors (13834 MBytes)
Total size: 14166400 sectors (27668 MBytes)
Video HD DVD label: CHRONICLESOFRIDDICK
Media is AACS protected!
File VPLST012.XPL renamed!
Removed AACS copy protection!
Grafikkarte Gainward Bliss 9600 GT Goldensample 1024, neuester nVidea-Treiber (64 Bit), Vista 64, 4 GB Ram
Verbindung zum Monitor: DVI digital.
Kennt jemand das Problem?

"HD DVD stuck in 4:3, and tech support was no help. Stated I needed to wait for a future update to resolve the problem."...
Interessanterweise verschwindet das Problem ab Kapitel 16. Ab da ist alles super in 16:9. Wenn ich z.B. von Kapitel 1 schnell in ein Kapitel ab 16 fahre, korrigiert sich das 4:3-Bild kurzzeitig auf 16:9 bis das neue Kapitel startet.
