Slysoft has nothing to do with this. Cinavia exists officially on blu-rays and DVD's since february 2012. The problem is your player and / or movie title. ANY licensed blu-ray player since ferb 2012, is REQUIRED to detect it or lose their blu-ray playback license. The fact that you're playing a DVD is irrelevant. AnyDVD's working cinavia removal fix does not yet work with DVD's. So there's a limited number of options you have
- Play the title on ANY (including new ones) DVD ONLY players, those are not required to detect cinavia
- Play the title on any pre-2012 blu-ray player
- Play the title on your PC in a software player with anydvd's "prevent cinavia detection by software player" setting enabled.
Take your pick.
Cinavia isn't a copy protection as many times stated. Copy protections are designed to PREVENT you from making a copy. Cinavia doesn't do that. Cinavia is an audio DRM, it's not designed to prevent you from making a copy. You can make your copy just fine, cinavia is designed for preventing you to fully PLAY that copy you made. Different thing. Reinstalling software wont help with any of that.
