Why not watch the original disc and see if it does the same thing
 
I've done that on my computer, but that has all same software and such. I don't have a stand-alone BR player. That's why I rip them... so I can see them on my TV in the first place. Anyway, it's all good. This was really helpful and I've learned a lot in the process. Thanks, everyone, for all the help.
