I have always installed the upgrade when notified. The latest upgrades, AnyDVD 6.1.6.7 and CloneDVD 2.9.1.0 reported an installation write error (failure) to ElbyCD10.dll. Location was unreported. A search for this dll via google draws a blank. Now both programs fail to start, reporting "initialise_dynamic() failed!" message.

Everything was fine up to this point. I use Windows XP Home.

What can be done to resolve these problems?

Thanks!

No problems with XP Home here. Try to uninstall, reboot, install, reboot and see if this fixes it.

Uninstall AnyDVD. Reboot.
Reinstall AnyDVD 6.1.6.7, this should fix this problem.

I am a REAL newbie at this...if I uninstall and reinstall any dvd and clone dvd will I need anything other than my registration keys? I hopefully have the keys saved to a CD-R. Please help...I have been using Any DVD for years and not had a problem unitl the last 2 upgrades for it and Vista!

All you will need is your registration keys. Install the program and click on the reg keys , restart the program. Simple.;)

Uninstall worked

I started the thread. A complete uninstall and reinstall of the latest version works.

When uninstalling, Slysoft asks if you want to save registration information, click on Yes. Then when you reinstall the new version it remembers your key and registration.

Thanks for the help, folks!

I have the same problem and did a complete reinstall and I still get the same failures?
