Oof you're right, it's the drive firmware that is. Probably modified fw considering the drive model.

i used the new version of anydvd and the same s... happens again...
at a random timestamp it stops and the output on makemkv says something like that

makemkv logs are useless. You need to post anydvd logfiles.

ok, here is a clonebd logfile in case it could help with anything....
its now a different bluray and it throws a read error

Both logs are irrelevant. Those are BD's, you reported an issue with DVD's. You're in the DVD section, not the BD section. You need to make up your mind. Are you having an issue with DVD's or BD's?

im sorry but i got told to try different too and so i did....
nothing works neither dvd or bluray

ok, forget it guys, i solved the issue..... hope so
it was the usb port, it only works on the 3.1 usb port on the others always the read issues... now on the usb 3.1 port no issues any more so far
