Another ziplog using Anydvd 8.0.5.3.

Multiple playlists. Speedmenu doesn't choose one & there's no playlist shown in the status window.

This disc is fixed, now.

Ripped to .iso with v8.0.5.0 of AnyDVDHD. CloneBD defaulted to title 857. Created a .mkv file.

When played, at the 6:40 minute:seconds point the movie displays this message, "Dear Customer, The disc you've inserted cannot be played..."

v8.0.6.0 of AnyDVDHD installed, tried using CloneBD to make another .mkv with the same results.

Any thoughts? Would a log file help in this case?

Quite likely a log file would help, there are usually several different disc versions out there, each with different playlists. Your disc is probably different than the OP's disc. The log file will help RedFox to determine the correct playlist -- then they will add it to the online database to help everyone else who has the same disc.

Ripped what to logfile? Which title? No logfile = we cant help you.

Thank you!

That's a logfile from an unprotected ISO. You can't use an unprotected ISO to remove playlist problems, you either have to go back to the original disc or use an ISO with the protection still intact

Thank you!

That looks like an image that was created, before AnyDVD could handle this disc.
You'll have to reprocess with the original disc.
Playlist 857 is incorrect, that's right.

Okay, thank you both. For future reference is it best to rip-to-hard-disk with the protections still intact so that additional visits to the .iso will allow AnyDVD to "handle" the disc?

No, the recommended method for Blu-ray ripping is ISO. You can keep protection intact on that.
