Exit Anydvd. Now assign your drive's region code to match the region code of the disc. Restart Anydvd.

I also am having problems with the ROCKY BALBOA DVD. I use AnyDVD (6.1.3.2) and CloneDVD2 (2.9.0.3). The error message I receive is that it cannot read VTS_05_4 and the disc may be dirty. I have cleaned the DVD, and I have played the DVD successfully using my DVD Player, however AnyDVD/CloneDVD (as well as AnyDVD Ripper) cannot read the file.

I believe there may be additional protection on this DVD that AnyDVD must accomodate. How do I make a request to AnyDVD to provide updated programming for ROCKY BALBOA protection?

wheelswagz....You might have a bad copy of the movie.

You're not having the same issue.

Your original disc is bad. Go exchange it.

No. Others have had no issues with Anydvd 6.1.3.2 and Clonedvd 2.9.0.3

Anydvd doesn't need to be updated to support this title with Clonedvd2.

If I have a bad copy of the DVD, then why can I play the movie without any problems? I believe it is the same error because sweetjacks error message stated it was a region problem OR dirty media. You all just assumed it was a region problem.

That's a common issue. Bad discs can often play fine despite being faulty.

Oh, actually that's a good point. I thought I read that the drive's region wasn't set.

    1. Is cprx enabled or disabled in your version of 1-click? Ensure it's disabled.

    2. Is "safe mode" enabled in Anydvd's "program settings"? If so, disable it.

    3. You may want to ask your question in 1-Click's forums:
    http://forum.lgsoftwareinnovations.com/

Chances are you have a bad original disc.

No problem with this title. Backed up asily with AnyDVD 6.1.3.2 and CloneDVD 2 ver. 2.9.0.3 Sony put it all on this one. But I had no issue with it. In fact, I backed up only the Movie in About 15 mins.:agree:

When people test these newer protections, please try to retain the full menus (the main movie is rarely, if ever, an issue). Thank you

Complete successful disc rip (DL mode) using AnyDVD 6132 & CloneDVD2 2903 in 11.02mins. The movie file is only 3596 MB's.

i have 4 writers and only my notbook would open rocky balboa. any dvd would not open on the other 3 writers. i think anydvd needs a little more work done on it. this is the only time i have any problem with movies. well i mean till slysoft fixed it. on my big wrter it did opened but clone dvd said vts 18 was bad.

Some players can't even read some of the newer sony discs, so chances are there will be some optical drives that can't either.

Granted, this is a standalone player, but visit an example where Sony is basically messing with its own customer: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showpost.php?p=1714873&postcount=30

Anydvd doesn't need anymore work with this title with the exception of compatibility with Shrink. Anydvd works fine with Clonedvd2 with this title.

For those of you who are getting the same error message as the OP,

    Click Start, Run
    type regedit

    Go to
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Current Control Set\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

Check the values in "LowerFilters" and "UpperFilters". List everything there

    Thanks

Okay, so I've tried AnyDVD and Clonedvd2 with no success (with Rocky, Stranger, Casino, Blood, Holiday, etc....) I've had AnyDvd for a few years and love it, but this time it doesn't work. So I tried Ripit4me, Dvd Decrpyter, DvdFab decrpyter, shrink...none of which work. Other DVD's work in the burner, and I've done eveything that has been recommended on here, so, bottom line - do I have to buy a new burner? If so, what would you recommend? (have HP dvd640 lightscribe that works great with all the other dvds.)
